Maryam Nawaz, Chief Minister of Punjab, and Shahbaz Sharif are directing this initiative to provide relief packages worth Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 5,000 to eligible families. 9999 Ehsaas Web Portal is an application that makes registration easier and more transparent.
- It is possible to check eligibility via SMS instead of visiting government offices by sending your CNIC number to 9999
- A government verification process will be carried out directly by the government and the applicants will be paid directly by the government

Two relief programs have been introduced by the Punjab government for deserving families:

- Punjab Socioeconomic Registry (PSER) listing of low-PMT households.
02. Relief of 5000 Rupees
- Without any source of income, widows
- People face financial hardship due to unemployment
- Households with low incomes verified by government records
03. Those who are not eligible
- A stable income is earned by government employees.
- Owners of businesses with large assets.
- Incorrect or incomplete records of individuals.

Upon confirmation of eligibility, payments will be transferred via the following methods:
- EasyPaisa & JazzCash: Secure and fast payments through mobile wallets.
- Government Cash Centers: Cash collection is done at points of easy access.
- Into the beneficiary’s bank account: Funds will be transferred directly into the beneficiary’s account.
Avoid These Mistakes When Registering on 9999 Portal!
If you want to make sure that the registration process goes smoothly, avoid these mistakes:
- An incorrect CNIC number was entered.
- SIM cards that are not registered to your name.
- It’s unnecessary to send more than one SMS request (one is enough!).
- Data that needs to be updated from PSER that has not been updated.
- Check your information twice before applying so that payment won’t be delayed.
