CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025 is an exceptional initiative launched by the Punjab government to provide students with the latest technologies. As part of this program, Punjab is distributing 50,000 high-performance laptops to deserving students.
13th-generation laptops and Core i7 computers will be provided to students to aid in their educational and research endeavors. Furthermore, 2,000 laptops will be given to minority students and those who have earned the top positions in secondary and higher secondary school examinations.
There will be 20,000 laptops distributed to university students, 14,000 college students, 4,000 agricultural and technical students, and 2000 medical and dental students. South Punjab students will account for 32% of those receiving computers.
Distribution Schedule for CM Punjab Laptops
In a tentative timeline, the Punjab government has set the following for laptop distribution:
- Registration and verification begin in February 2025
- During April/May 2025, the distribution phase will begin
- Initial batches of laptops are expected to be distributed during Ramadan 2025 to students
In an earlier announcement, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz declared that the first batch of laptops had arrived in Pakistan. In recognition of reward high-achieving students, Honhaar Scholarship Program distribution ceremonies will be held across the province.

A Breakdown in Laptop Distribution
- There are twenty thousand laptops available for university students.
- For college students, fourteen thousand laptops will be provided.
- A total of four thousand laptops will be provided to students at technical and agricultural colleges.
- For medical and dental students, there will be two thousand laptops.
- The South Punjab region receives 32 percent of all laptops.

How to Register Online CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025?
Registration for this program is not available online, unlike previous years. Instead of that, the selection process is as follows:
- Students with eligibility will be collected and verified by educational institutions.
- In the event the data cannot be verified, it will be forwarded to Punjab Higher Education Commission (HEC).
- In the near future, HEC Punjab will publish the final list of selected students.
