Bank Timing in Ramadan 2025: Complete Schedule & Updates

Earlier this month, State Bank of Pakistan revised its Ramadan banking hours. Bank office hours will be 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., without breaks, according to a statement from the central bank.

As the spokesperson for the State Bank of Pakistan confirmed, all commercial banks, development finance institutions, and microfinance institutions will follow the revised schedule for Ramadan.

Earlier, the Establishment Division had provided a notification adjusting working hours at federal government offices. Offices operating on a five-day workweek will open from 9:00 a.m. for three hours, and those operating on a six-day workweek will be open from 9:00 a.m. through 2:00 p.m. On Fridays, all government offices will close by 12:30 p.m. to observe Jumu’ah prayers.

SBP Bank Opening Hours in Ramadan 2025 – Full Timetable

In Ramadan-ul-Mubarak, 1446AH, the State Bank of Pakistan notified its office and business hours.

Additionally, all banks, development finance institutions, and microfinance institutions will remain open during Ramadan-ul-Mubarak 1446 A.H,

SBP Announces Revised Banking Hours for Ramadan

A notification from the administrative department informs that offices operating five days a week will observe new hours, operating from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Mondays through Thursdays, and 9:00 am to 12:30 pm on Fridays.

A similar schedule is in place for offices operating six days a week, operating from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday to Thursday and Saturday, and 9:00 am to 12:30 pm on Fridays.

Additionally, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has adjusted its trading hours for Ramadan:

• Our hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Hours of operation (Fridays): 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Hours of trading (Monday through Thursday): 9:17 am to 1:30 pm
• The trading hours (Friday) are 9:17 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
