Electric Charging Stations in Pakistan for Women
To facilitate women’s access to this e-service, the provincial government installed e-bike charging stations.
As part of this program, charging facilities will be placed in collaboration with the Bank of Punjab (BoP). The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Lahore, Rafia Haider, endorsed the concept and site selection, emphasizing public areas, particularly Liberty Parking Plaza, as well as women’s colleges and universities.

- An amount of PKR 2.6 billion has been provided by the Punjab government as a subsidy
- Participation in the program is restricted to those who are 18 years old
- A student must be enrolled in a regular course at any university or college recognized by the Higher Education Commission
- Applicants must hold a current motorcycle license or learner’s permit
